Duties & Responsibilities/ Job Description

  • Analyze customer business processes and technical requirements.
  • Design and propose GIS-based solutions for utility organizations.
  • Prepare technical proposals, solution architectures, and implementation approaches.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and technical presentations.
  • Support RFP/RFQ responses and participate in technical discussions with customers.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop winning solution strategies.
  • Participate in the implementation of enterprise GIS solutions for utility customers.
  • Configure, customize, and test GIS applications according to project requirements.
  • Perform business process analysis and functional requirement gathering.
  • Support data migration, system integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
  • Deliver user training and technical workshops.
  • Provide post-implementation support and technical consulting.
  • Work with regional and international teams on cross-country projects.
  • Participate in meetings with customers and partners in English.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly understand new technologies and business domains.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within Thailand and overseas.
  • Knowledge of electrical utility operations, power distribution, transmission, or smart grid.
  • Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts.
  • Experience with enterprise software implementation projects.
  • Experience in technical consulting, solution design, or pre-sales activities.
  • Knowledge of electric utility business processes, such as:
    - Asset Management,Distribution Network Operations, Network Planning
    - Outage Management, Smart Grid, Utility Network
  • Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, SQL, JavaScript, or C#) is an advantage.
