Network Engineer 1

Duties & Responsibilities/ Job Description

1. Plan, design, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure stability, security, and scalability in alignment with organizational growth.

2. Install and configure networking equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, and other related devices.

3. Troubleshoot technical issues related to network systems and provide technical guidance to other teams.

4. Monitor and analyze network usage data to optimize performance.

5. Manage network security and collaborate closely with the IT Security team.

6. Prepare documentation, user manuals, and support materials, including data backup and disaster recovery procedures

Qualification

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in network system administration (more experience will be considered favorably).

3. Hands-on experience and knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or other networking equipment.

4. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, Firewalls, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.

5. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in network systems.

6. Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
