Duties & Responsibilities/ Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in government and enterprise sectors
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, requirement gathering, proposal development, and deal closure
  • Analyze client requirements and translate them into solution-based proposals in collaboration with technical teams
  • Prepare and manage proposal documents, TOR responses, and bidding (e-GP / tender processes)
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Pre-sales, Engineer, Project Delivery) to ensure smooth project execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and business partners
  • Monitor sales pipeline, track progress, and achieve sales targets
  • Support contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and commercial discussions
  • Stay updated on market trends, government policies, and technology solutions relevant to GIS business

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, IT, Engineering, or related fields
  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales, Project Sales, or Business Development (IT / Technology / Solution-based preferred)
  • Experience working with government projects, bidding processes, or SI environment is a plus
  • Strong understanding of solution-based selling and project lifecycle
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with both business and technical teams
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
