Duties & Responsibilities/ Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in government and enterprise sectors
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, requirement gathering, proposal development, and deal closure
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into solution-based proposals in collaboration with technical teams
- Prepare and manage proposal documents, TOR responses, and bidding (e-GP / tender processes)
- Coordinate with internal teams (Pre-sales, Engineer, Project Delivery) to ensure smooth project execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and business partners
- Monitor sales pipeline, track progress, and achieve sales targets
- Support contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and commercial discussions
- Stay updated on market trends, government policies, and technology solutions relevant to GIS business
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, IT, Engineering, or related fields
- 2–5 years of experience in Sales, Project Sales, or Business Development (IT / Technology / Solution-based preferred)
- Experience working with government projects, bidding processes, or SI environment is a plus
- Strong understanding of solution-based selling and project lifecycle
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with both business and technical teams
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
